LARA Secure L.L.C. ("LARA Secure," "we," "us," or "our") provides a communication platform that helps local service businesses capture and respond to customer inquiries using AI. We also market our own platform directly to prospective customers. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information in both contexts.
We may collect the following information on behalf of that business:
Contact information: Your name, phone number, and email address as provided by you when you call, submit a web form, or send an email to the business.
Communication content: Voicemail recordings, voicemail transcriptions, web form submissions, email messages, and SMS text messages exchanged between you and the business.
Call metadata: Date and time of calls, call duration, and caller ID information provided by your telephone carrier.
Service request details: Information you provide about the services you are requesting, such as dates, times, locations, and service preferences.
When you submit information to LARA Secure through our own website (for example, at larasecure.io/try to request a product demonstration, or through other LARA Secure forms), we collect:
Contact information: Your name, phone number, email address, business name, and business vertical as provided by you.
Business context: Any additional information you provide about your business to help us personalize the demonstration.
Interaction data: Pages you visit, form submissions, and responses to our communications.
We use your information to provide communication services to that business: transcribe your voicemail so the business can respond, draft a response for the business owner to review and approve before it reaches you, deliver the approved response via SMS or email, provide scheduling and calendar tools for the business, and keep a record of communications for service continuity.
Data collected on behalf of a business is used only to serve that business's communications with you. It is not used by LARA Secure for our own marketing purposes.
When you submit information directly to LARA Secure (for example, through larasecure.io/try), we use that information to generate and deliver a personalized product demonstration, send SMS messages containing links to your demonstration and related follow-up content about our platform, send emails containing your demonstration, platform updates, onboarding guidance, and other promotional content about LARA Secure, and improve our platform and understand which service verticals benefit most from our offering.
When you submit a form directly to LARA Secure, you will see clear disclosure on that form indicating what communications you will receive. Submission is the explicit consent action for receiving those communications.
We do not sell, rent, license, or otherwise distribute your personal information to any third party for their own marketing purposes. We do not share mobile opt-in data, including phone numbers collected through SMS interactions, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Your data is stored on hardware controlled by LARA Secure — not on third-party cloud servers. We use encrypted storage, access controls, and network isolation to protect your information.
We use Twilio as our telecommunications provider for phone and SMS services. When you call or text us or a business using our platform, Twilio processes the call routing and message delivery. Twilio's handling of your data is governed by Twilio's own privacy policy.
Customer data collected through a business using our platform belongs to that business, not to LARA Secure. We process it on their behalf as a service provider. The business is responsible for its own compliance with applicable privacy laws regarding your information.
Data you submit directly to LARA Secure through our own forms and channels is held by LARA Secure. We act as the data controller for this information and are responsible for its handling under this Privacy Policy.
For data collected on behalf of a business, we retain it for as long as the business maintains an active account with LARA Secure. When a business terminates its relationship with us, we provide the business with a complete export of all customer data and delete it from our systems within 30 days of export confirmation.
For data collected directly by LARA Secure, we retain it for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service you requested and to communicate with you about our platform. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting either the business you communicated with (for data collected on their behalf) or LARA Secure directly (for data collected by us). We will respond to deletion requests within 30 days.
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may resume messages by replying START. This applies to both transactional messages on behalf of businesses and marketing messages from LARA Secure directly.
You may opt out of marketing email from LARA Secure by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly.
LARA Secure facilitates two distinct categories of SMS.
When you contact a business using our platform, you may receive SMS responses from the business via our service. These messages are transactional responses to your inquiry. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the business.
When you submit your phone number to LARA Secure through our own forms (for example, larasecure.io/try) or otherwise consent to receive communications from LARA Secure, you may receive SMS messages from LARA Secure about our platform, including links to personalized product demonstrations, follow-up content, product updates, and other promotional material. These messages come directly from LARA Secure and are distinct from transactional messages sent on behalf of businesses using our platform. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us — typically up to five SMS per month per interaction. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
For all SMS from our platform, you may reply STOP at any time to opt out. You will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS will be sent. Reply HELP for help or contact us at admin@larasecure.io. Mobile opt-in data, including phone numbers collected through SMS interactions, will never be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Our platform uses AI to transcribe voicemails, classify inquiries, and draft responses. For communications on behalf of a business, a human reviews and approves every AI-generated message before it reaches you, unless the business has set up automatic responses for specific routine inquiry types. For communications from LARA Secure directly, AI may be used to personalize demonstrations and generate content; all such communications are subject to LARA Secure review.
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued interaction with LARA Secure or with businesses using our platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
