These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by LARA Secure L.L.C. ("LARA Secure," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our platform or communicating with a business that uses our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

LARA Secure provides a communication platform that helps local service businesses ("Client Businesses") capture and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and web forms using AI. When you contact a Client Business, our platform may process your communication and deliver a response on their behalf.

2. SMS Messaging Terms

When you contact a Client Business using our platform, you may receive SMS text messages in response to your inquiry. By initiating contact with a Client Business through a phone call, web form submission, or email, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to your inquiry.

These messages are responses to your inquiry — not marketing or promotional messages. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the business. Message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply.

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received from a Client Business through our platform. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. You may opt back in at any time by replying START.

3. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Our platform uses AI to transcribe voicemails, classify inquiries, and draft responses. AI-generated content may contain errors. A human reviews and approves every AI-generated message before delivery, unless the Client Business has set up automatic responses for specific routine inquiry types.

LARA Secure does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. The Client Business is responsible for reviewing and approving all communications sent to their customers through our platform.

4. Data Handling

Your personal information is handled per our Privacy Policy. Customer data is stored on hardware we control — not on third-party cloud servers. All customer data belongs to the Client Business you contacted. LARA Secure processes it on their behalf.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services or any communication channel facilitated by our platform to transmit unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access to any party that violates these terms.

6. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or outages from third-party providers like Twilio. We are not liable for damages from service interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LARA Secure shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our services or communications received through our platform. This includes, without limitation, damages for missed appointments, lost business opportunities, or reliance on AI-generated content.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LARA Secure, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or your violation of these Terms.

9. Third-Party Services

Our platform uses Twilio for phone/SMS and Google Calendar for scheduling, among other providers. Features involving third-party services are subject to those providers' terms. LARA Secure is not responsible for their practices or availability.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Baltimore County, Maryland.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
